"Very cool ideas here, not all the stories landed with me, loved Imitate the most.

SPOILER
Instantly got sucked into the atmosphere of Transfigured and I know this will be an unpopular opinion here but I liked the story for what it was and it kinda lost its luster for me in the story notes. I got it w/o it being said from title and wanted more of the story of why the character felt that way & what did she/they do to elicit a hex ?"

"Short stories have always been my favorite form of horror. “Imitate” was probably my favorite and as far as flash fiction goes, “Soilborne” was absolutely flawless. This was a perfect example of a short story collection done right. I also really appreciated Hawk’s notes at the end that provided some insight on what inspired each story. Loved it."
