"3.5 stars. Hated the font for batman's thoughts and the thoughts of Gordon were a little cringy. However dialogue was amazing. You can really see it is old though because if this was published today it would be bombing there is not much in here. Corruption corruption the antagonist is either batman himself because it is more of a Gordon story than a batman story, or it is corruption itself because good luck finding a batman villain in here. "This is the 2nd story I have read by Frank Miller; the first was the dark knight returns, and after finishing this one, I am impressed at his story telling. He makes batman a much more compelling comic book character. Year one was great in showing how sloppy Bruce's first year of batman was. We have always seen his greatness but here Frank showed his mistakes and how we was able to learn from them and move forward. I recommend for comic book readers and a must read for Batman Fans"
