Bluegrass State of Mind

"I loved this book and I also loved the fact that the first in the series is free! That's definitely the way to get this girl hooked on a series: first one free and the ones after it cheap!<br/><br/>There was:<br/>1. Romance... this book was brimming with romance, not only from the main characters but from the supporting characters as well.<br/>2. Conflict...there were many points of conflict, which I love because it helps to carry the story and it helps to explain the characters and their motives for certain actions.<br/>3. Moments of suspense...there were tons of these. There's a dream sequence that was giving the heroine nightmares that actually gave me nightmares and the bad guys in this series are super icky! I love it when a book brings in you in like that!<br/>4. Love scenes...I like a good descriptive love scene but I also love a love scene that happens off the page, it brings you into the moment but doesn't share too much!<br/>5. Strong characters...I absolutely love when all of the characters are strong. You have strong main characters, strong side characters, strong supporting characters and strong characters that are present for just one or two scenes! It's awesome!<br/>6. Story line that drew me in, never let me go, and gave me the creeps and righteous indignation! I was totally in this story!<br/><br/>I loved this book so much I can't wait to read the rest in this series! I am definitely a fan of this series and this author!!!"

"One of my all time favorite series. I feel like I go "home" each time I start a new book. The town and supporting characters provide such a nice comedic backdrop for her stories."
