"5/5 ⭐️ I love this world and these characters! I am a total convert from the first book in the series. Jessa knows how to make you loath a character in one book and then completely love and sympathize with them in the next. I love Daisy and Julian’s world and just was rooting for then the entire time. I have never read anything like these books and the way they are written completely character centred yet the plot from book to book continues seamlessly is incredible. There is not on page explicit spice in these books 0/5 spice level based on my scale. There are a lot of fade to black/flash forward scenes though. "
"I would rate the series as a whole, a 4. This book was a bit disappointing. The majority of the book was boring. Felt repetitive because of what we’ve already heard in the book before this. Unpopular opinion, but I love Julian! Way more than BJ. Will still look forward to reading the next one!"
"The Haites siblings continue to be my favorites in this series. Was nice to read how in deep Julian is with Magnolia as from her POV you could definitely tell he caught feelings but you had no idea how much until this book. Definitely enjoy Julian and Magnolias dynamic more than her and BJ."
"I- Stop. Even though I was kind of aware of what was going to happen I am still DEVASTATED!? Like, reading about it but in other people's point of view just made it so much more heartbreaking because now I know what was going through other character's heads when stuff was happening... Yet another 5/5 star read for me! This is the best series ever to be written. I will die on this hill."

"4.2

Daisy’s footnotes are driving me crazy. Just write them in the actual text, please. I beg.
I very much love this messy London drama romance series I’ve stumbled across thank you bookstagram

Magnolia’s so ******* annoying, I wish I still hated her. I feel much the same way about her that Daisy does. Reluctantly finding myself being sucked into her stupidly beautiful and bizarre personality. Anyway, why the hell is she getting so much screen time in a book that should be all about Daisy?? I loved and hated Julian’s POVs just because of it, even though I found myself going back to the paragraphs I told myself I was going to skip… ugh I hate her. Magnolia has so many flaws I hate, and she has this angelic overly sensitive heroine manhwa energy that drives me up the wall with anger as she dances on the hearts of men in her life all for the performance of BJ. And yet I must reluctantly admit her personality is great even if she is a bit of an idiot. She also has a great friendship chemistry with Christian (he’s really climbing up there in the boyfriend category with Orion from ZA, the great LOML). Ugh Magnolia’s even taking up my review in a book that SHOULDN’T BE ABOUT HER.

The Haites just need a win, because the end of this book was truly a great undoing for the both of them. I like Tiller, but he was like an Avatar filler episode (the highest compliment I can give him, because no episode is skippable, but the fillers are the supporting acts) until Christian came back into Daisy’s life. Those two are soul mates. Christian is truly the best boy. He’s sickeningly and proudly in love and I love that he’s just owning up to it now. Daisy, I feel, made better decisions with boys in this book, like doing her best to not cheat on Tiller when the temptation was very strong (I was worried), not acting out against Christian with Rome about the sex tape (I was also worried), not being unreasonable about him and Magnolia’s friendship or the almost New York hookup and blah blah blah.
I really just need this series to end with the Haites being happy. Daisy being a Doctor, because that was really downplayed this book and I was pretty disappointed that her whole career was put on hold because of safety, her and Christian being grossly in love and happy, Julian…. I really don’t know how that’s gonna go. Since I haven’t read Magnolias book (I still do not plan to), I’m really not sure if BJ is redeemable or if he should be with Magnolia or not. I kind of wish for Julian to be free of her, because regardless of if Magnolia chooses him, she’ll never not choose BJ. Her heart is stained with the colours of his soul and she just can’t seem wash it out, to be clean of him.

Upon reflection, I realize that last line doesn’t deserve to be written for such a toxic, codependent couple. But since I like it, I think I’ll leave it in. To put it bluntly, Julian was warned by Jonah from the start that Magnolia would set his heart on fire just to stay warm (while she waits for BJ, or course) and what do you know! That’s exactly what happened. He can do much better. Because as sweet and sometimes funny in an annoying way as she can be, Magnolia is an absolute disaster. There’s a reason why I won’t read her book. I’m really not sure why she’s in this one so much either?"
"4.25/5 ⭐
The last 5% of this book was so good. This book took all the other books in this series to the next level(well as much as it could). The stakes ended up being higher and even though I had seen some of these scenes in Magnolia's books it was impactful. I really liked the Daisy and Christian parts and romance, Christian is my fave and I love Daisy. The Julian povs on the other end were a little annoying, there was so much magnolia and I needed a break from her. Julian and Magnolia's romance seemed redundant because I knew she was going to end up with BJ. Also Magnolia is so immature in other peoples pov, her behavior and actions made her sound a teenager but I did like her friendship with Daisy though. There were a lot of repetitive miscommunication and drama from the other books in the series but I still really enjoyed the friend group, the crime lord stuff and the drama. The ending pushed my rating over 4 stars and I'm really excited for the next book."
