"There’s some stuff that really resonated with me, particularly chapter 14 about sexuality. While the book was likely revolutionary when it was initially written, there are some things that don’t necessarily jive with the current day values of the HAES and intuitive eating communities. There is some fatphobia and mentioning of numbers (I.e. weight). Regardless, I think it still had a lot of really insightful nuggets that I’ll be thinking about for a while!"
