"The foundation of this story reminded me of Red by S. J. Sanders in that there is a hive-type relationship looking for a queen. This being a more pg-13 version of course. And like always I go straight for the bad boy with a tortured past Ori. Why? Maybe I'm a masochist at heart.

My biggest problem with the characters and even the story was that everything was too perfect. Noelle is from royalty and descendent of the original wolves and dragons. Her soon-to-be dragons are descendants of the original dragons and also one of the dude's father is the Chief himself. Most of the main characters are unique with one-of-a-kind abilities. Even the island and the school are gorgeous beyond belief.

So this made it very hard to connect with the world. Nothing was relatable. Still, it was a cute and easy story to follow. Each boy brought a different dynamic and the powerplay between them and Noelle was funny."
