"This book was recommended to me by my cousin. She seemed to really enjoy the series so I thought I’d give it a shot.

I’ll just start by saying, the friends to lovers trope isn’t my favourite which is probably why I had such a hard time enjoying this series. I was also not a fan of the storyline either - I feel as though the story was dragged out for far too long. What was written in 2 novels, I feel could have just been shortened to 1.

After weeks of not reading it because I couldn’t enjoy the storyline, I found myself skipping a bunch of chapters (like half the book) just because of the long, repetitiveness and to finally get to the point in the second book.

I can kind of see why people would enjoy this series, but it just wasn’t for me."
