"The first time I have ever found a Muslim character to be portrayed as whole and real; and not a fix-me case to be assimilated into Western ideals. There was use of dhikir. The same morals I have grown up with. The relationship budded in a halal manner. It was all just so perfect and surreal. Especially at the time I read it, it was the best book I ever read. Genuinely."
