"This book made me really sad that the woman’s husband had a problem with her cheek since she had a birthmark on it. He should’ve been supportive of her, instead of making her feel insecure about herself. Why did he marry her to begin with if he was going to mistreat her this way? I almost wanted to cry for this woman. It’s not fair, and the man should’ve been the one in her place at the very end’s conclusion."
