"Definitely one of the weaker installments in this subseries. The romantic subplots are less than half-baked, as the involved just seem to like each other and dedicate themselves immediately. Star Flower gives Manic Pixie Dream Girl vibes. A lot of important plot points are kind of rushed.
I did like Clear Sky's development a lot. His growth was inspiring. I also found Gray Wing's anxious insecurity to be an interesting trait within the franchise, especially given the preceding books. "
"Dawn of the Clans: The Sun Trail ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Dawn of the Clans: Thunder Rising ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dawn of the Clans: The First Battle ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dawn of the Clans: The Blazing Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dawn of the Clans: A Forest Divided ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dawn of the Clans: Path of Stars ⭐️⭐️
Moth Flight's Vision (super edition) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thunderstar's Echo (ebook) legends of the clan ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Shadowstar’s Life (ebook) path of a warrior ⭐️⭐️
Average: 3.278

I still really like this series but this is where the series start to gets weaker. This is set after the big battle. Both groups are listening to starclan and are keeping the peace. Clear Sky calms down and is no longer picking fights. There aren’t any more boundaries. There is illness that spreads to the prey and cats. Clear Sky gets a redemption arc and actually over corrects himself. He trusts a cat that may as well have writing on his forehead saying “I’m Evil”.

One-eye is actually a great villain. When he fully goes villain he is really threading. He is not really a twist villain because every cat sees it coming except Clear Sky. The book isn’t trying to hide it at all. He is enough of a threat that the groups come together to defeat him. They should of given one more book to One-eye. The next villain is pretty similar to one-eye so why not?

Starting with this book prophecies do come back. The cats acknowledge how annoying it is.

We get introduced to Star flower and I actually liked her in this book.

The instant love can be annoying though."
