"Did I read this before I watched the movie? Absolutely. The artwork is still stunning though but I prefer the author's original. He left in the beautiful mistakes and it made it feel more personal. And wherein the original was more a collection of encounters and thoughts this book, if you couldn't guess by the title, had more of a cohesive storyline.
Wow was it still gorgeous. I turned to a page when they found the horse and my jaw dropped. You could feel the atmosphere coming off the pages. The cold of being alone, the warmth of a friend needing you, the quiet of real friendship. This book is paramount to me now.
