The tension between clear sky and grey wing grows more. Tom returns and kidnaps the kits. There is a big battle.

As said in the title this book has a big battle. It doesn’t happen until the end of the book. The battle doesn’t disappoint. There is a lot of violence and death.

After the fight we get introduced to what will become starclan. I like that this isn’t normal. The living cats are confused and don’t talk about it to outsiders. They still listen to what they say.

Clear Sky kinda annoyed me. It made sense why he would attack outsiders but if he didn’t want anyone to starve why would be attack the cats that he grew up with if they went on his land. I also wish that cats from Clear Sky’s group had some kind of tension between the other group. It made sense for the Rogues to attack but why didn’t the tribe cats say anything. A lot of the cats didn’t agree with Clear Sky, so why did they go along with killing what used to be there tribe mates. As a villain clear sky isn’t too bad because he is one of the few villains that is motivated by something other than power and you get to watch him get more corrupted."
