"This book was impressivly bad, I thought it was kinda medicore at the start but it just got worse and worse. So I picked it basically randomly off of Libby after I finished "Gone Girl" I just saw I could borrow it and liked the blurb about it. It sounded like it would be intresting so I thought "why not?" Well, theres a very many reasons why not, as I now know. First of all I don't know if I have ever disliked a main character as much as Nora, she is so whiny, disresptful, self centered, and dumb it's amazing. She's in her late 30's or somthing and she reads like a 12 year old, that's not good. It's so offputting and annoying, she doesn't act like a adult for the entire book. (Brady is like the only adult that is even somewhat believable actually) She's a dick to Brady for no apparent reason. And man is she dumb. I know it's for the plots sake, but man you can move a plot by just being more creative, gosh dang. This read more like YA then anything becuase anybody that reads this below surface leval only has to dip their toes in to see all of the inconsistency's and just outrght unbelievable things scattered all throughout the book. To sum it up all the characters were unbelievable, the plot was rough, Nora was horrible (I wanted her to end up in prison somhow) and I don't think the author has a grasp of how to write how surgens act, about how police act, about how lawers act, and how just about anybody acts in a professional setting. Think James Patterson."
