"Working my way through the Heralds of Valdemar books again. One of my favorite literary universes. Also just finished the most recent Dresden Files book. The whole series is fantastic. Kind of like Harry Potter for grown ups. If you are looking for something kind of like the Pit dragon Chronicles I would try the Dragons of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey"
