"This is one of Junji Ito's weaker collections. I believe this is due to much of it being him illustrating stories written by other authors instead of writing and drawing his own work. The titular story is very good but most of the collection other than that just doesn't fit with what Ito usually provides in creativity so it feels unbalanced and very odd to transition story to story."
