"3.75⭐️ Ok after this book I think I maybe get Frieda McFadden. She is CAMP lol. Like B horror movies of the 50s camp. I’m not sure if this is intentional on her part or not but it’s not a bad thing! I found this book highly entertaining and hilarious. It is not meant to be realistic or taken seriously folks. It’s about the silly tropes, ominous foreshadowing, and allllllll the dumb decisions WE would never make while we scream at the heroine…Nooooo…Don’t Go In There!! That’s the fun of it. And that ending?! I was laughing my butt off 🤣🤣🤣"

"This was an okay read. I can’t say I was surprised necessarily with the twists but I enjoyed them. I wished things didn’t wrap up as quickly as they did, it felt like maybe not the best balanced story. A lot of dragging on where wasn’t necessary and then a quick ending. "

"This book was alright. I wouldn’t read it again. Freida McFadden is wonderful with plot twists and I’ve always been curious about psychology, mental wards, etc. My complaint is the main character. She’s fairly one-dimensional. She doesn’t seem to have much of a personality aside from her being scared of Ward D and wanting to be an (undecided) medical major or doctor. I guess the main character has to be quite naïve in order to for there to be the suspense there is in this book. I will say, the end was quite amazing and gave me a greater appreciation for Spider-Man. The set up, of course, was kind of boring… but I feel like it was worth it."
