"Worth Her Weight in Gold is a sweet little prelude to the "River of Teeth" series which has been on my TBR for a long time now. Seems like I will like it once I start reading it. This was a change of pace for me because I'm very horror-centric, I don't read a lot of happy, sweet, and heartwarming stories. This was a breath of fresh air, and the idea of a jet-black hippo is terrifying but intriguing at the same time. The entire "River of Teeth" series sounds fascinating and I will get to it eventually."
