Twelve year old Jennifer is unhappy with her widowed mom's relationship with a family friend. Feeling lonely, she readily accepts the friendship of an adult man named Howie and joins the softball team he coaches. Soon, Howie is convincing Jennifer to pose for photographs which become more and more revealing. Howie turns out to be a pedophile who works in child pornography and he plans to make Jennifer a "star". Will Jennifer's mother be able to help her daughter before it's too late?

"3½⭐ This is a super creepy older movie (1981) dealing with pedophilia... There WERE cringey moments, which is probably to be expected for a movie concerning such subject matter... I recognized the main character, Dana Hill, from longer ago. I KNOW I've seen her in other things in the longer past... When I saw her picture on the graphic tile, that's what prompted me to check this movie out. She played the part of the main character, a 12-year-old, although she was actually 17 irl at the time. She is also know for her performance as Audrey, the young daughter of the Griswold family in "National Lampoon’s European Vacation" (1985). I read where she was actually 21 in that movie. Apparently she played younger parts due to her small size as a result of type 1 diabetes. Unfortunately, Dana Hill passed from the complications of diabetes at only age 32 in 1996... I also recognized Richard Masur in this from "One Day At A Time," the series with Valerie Bertinelli."
