The Bible in a Year (with Fr. Mike Schmitz)

"After some rough years, I’m getting back into the scripture. Not to mention, seeing so many evil doings in the world, it’s so easy to forget how important it is to have a relationship with God. I’ve listened to Fr Mike for the past 5 -6 days and his commentary makes it so much more easy to understand the Bible. I remember in my teens trying to read and getting stuck on who was related to who and on concepts that I just couldn’t wrap my head around. Fr Mike has an air about him that makes me feel like it’s not a chore to get through the Bible, and I really feel more appreciative of the compilation of Gods testimonies. "

"This is the most amazing podcast! If you are looking for a Bible study podcast, that will help you grow spiritually, THIS IS IT! Nugget of knowledge- Father Mike talks a little fast sometimes (he’s so excited to share God’s Word!), so I have to slow the speed down so I don’t miss anything important! Find this podcast, and click subscribe! DO IT!!! I would recommend this podcast to anyone, even if and especially if you aren’t Catholic. I don’t label myself as anything, except a believer and follower of Christ. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED hearing the other books of the Bible that are in the Catholic Bible that are not included in standard Bible that I have been reading. "
