Crusade is an American spin-off TV show from J. Michael Straczynski's Babylon 5. Its plot is set in AD 2267, five years after the events of Babylon 5, and just after the movie A Call to Arms. The Drakh have released a nanovirus plague on Earth, which will destroy all life on Earth within five years if it is not stopped. To that end, the Victory class destroyer Excalibur has been sent out to look for anything that could help the search for a cure.

"A sequel series to Babylon 5 that takes place after the Babylon 5 film Call to Arms when Drakh Plague has befallen Earth, with five years to find a cure for all inhabitants of Earth die. Worth watching as the first season was much like that of Babylon 5, with threads beginning for arcs but was never given rise to form before the season premiered."

"A spin off of Babylon 5. Another well written show. It was cut off halfway through the 1st season, which is really obviously unexpected when you watch it unfortunately. But still definitely worth a watch through. Storylines are unique and intriguing."
