Put Your Head on My Shoulder 2021

"The first 4 episodes were horrible, but since I loved the 2019 Chinese version I kept watching this train wreck. To my astonishment, this series did a complete turn around after episode 4 and is now getting full stars from me. Large differences between the 2019v compared to the 2021v The backstory of why they ended up living together. In the 2019v, I always felt the moms pushing them to live together was weird, also if the moms were so close, why had the children never met previously? 2021v, added in a neighbor renting the place out, FL thinking that the ML was only interested in boys so it was ok to share living space as she thought of him as a girlfriend. In 2021v ML wasn't over the top perfect/smart, yes he is extremely intelligent but he seems more human in 2021v, which I liked. FL first love, (this was part of the train wreck first 4 episodes) he was completely ignoring her, vs 2019v he was just more about himself vs her. For 2021v the FL being head over heels blinded by her first love of over a decade, she seemed to look at the ML too much at this point. My favorite scene in the 2019v is where FL is drunk and to prove he knows her, he asks who is circles father, and mother, which gives a misunderstanding that they have a child together. Unfortunately that part was not in 2021v. There was a babysitting incident but not as humorous. 2021v in episode 19 they will give you a fun homage to the 2019v. The Quality of filming and acting is definitely better in the 2019v but both the 2019 and 2021 have great stories that I would rewatch both versions time and again. I may skip the first few eps of 2021 version. ;-) "
