"I love this book, because the short stories are fancy, full of mystery and rich details of adventure and depth. I am very pleased with the vibrancy of this writer, and I am going to read all of his works. I am really looking forward to reading more. I would recommend this book to everyone, young and old alike. My favorite story is about Henry Sugar, who learns how to cheat at cards, devoting three whole years to it. He is my hero, because he goes through a tranformation of monumental proportion, starting out merely an idle, selfish heir. It is a fantastic story, very unique-it kept leaving me guessing. There is something for everyone in these stories, and they will only get better with the retelling."
