"I’ve finally finished! That took me way too long. Not because it wasn’t interesting, though. I just found it wasn’t as enticing as I’d hoped. When I was reading, I enjoyed it, but I could put it down easily and didn’t feel completely drawn in to read again.

Kip is definitely growing on me, finally accepting who he is and not whining as much. Gavin is still my favourite and I really enjoyed his story this time. Liv on the other hand..not a fan. But perhaps that’s intentional.

Regardless, while reading I was “meh” in terms of getting to the next book in the series, but now that I’m done I am once again looking forward to it. Maybe it’s because I read the ending in a large chunk and it gets me pumped.

This is only book two but I think I’m enjoying it more than the first, and I hope it will continue to grow as I read more."
