"Oh my Lanta, this was the cutest book I’ve read in such a long time🫣😳 You can immediately feel this spark between the main characters and the banter throughout the book had me absolutely gushing over the characters!! The story wasn’t anything too complex; it was actually quite straightforward which is not a bad thing at all. Especially after reading quite a few books with complicated relationships, this one was such a nice breather and was much appreciated. Even though it’s a high-fantasy book, the problems that the characters struggle with is surprisingly real. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone looking for a cute, wholesome and wonderfully gay story✨~"
"I picked up In Deeper Waters because I had heard it was a gay version of the little mermaid told from Eric’s point of view. I was not disappointed! I loved Tal and Athlen!"

"I wanted to like this book so badly because there’s not enough good gay fantasy but it’s just straight up bad, I was really determined to finish it, but I couldn’t even make it halfway through. The plot was bad, the characters were bad, the world building was bad."
