"This book was good, but not great. I really enjoyed the premise of the story and it started off pretty strong. At times it began to go from mature young adult to more juvenile. Some of the drama and action fell flat in the second half of the story. I am debating on if I will read the next book in the series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 "

"4.5 stars - This Vicious Grace is the first fantasy book I’ve been able to easily get lost in, in such a long time. The plot was intriguing because it was unique. This magic system felt fresh and the build up throughout the novel was amazing. The bodyguard romance was to die for (you’ll get the joke id you read the book!) and Dante quickly became a top contender for book boyfriend of the month! Alessa’s journey was full of so much growth and self love it was impossible to dislike her. Overall, this novel is the perfect fantasy read with a sprinkling of romance!<br/><br/>Thank you to Edelweiss for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review."

"I haven't wanted to write this review since I had such a hard time getting into this one and wasn't feeling it at all. I usually love these kinds of books, but this one was just blah for me. It didn't help that I felt like this was the same as a lot of other stories I've already read and seemed to be lacking. I was also turned off by the amount of gore and such.<br/>I know a lot of others have this as one of their favorites and loved it so it could be and is a good fit for a lot of other readers, but not for me.<br/>Thanks so much to St. Martin's Press/Wednesday Books and NetGalley for letting me read and review this book.
