Lucy can’t understand Joshua’s joyless, uptight, meticulous approach to his job. Joshua is clearly baffled by Lucy’s overly bright clothes, quirkiness, and Pollyanna attitude. Now up for the same promotion, their battle of wills has come to a head and Lucy refuses to back down when their latest game could cost her her dream job…But the tension between Lucy and Joshua has also reached its boiling point, and Lucy is discovering that maybe she doesn’t hate Joshua. And maybe, he doesn’t hate her either. Or maybe this is just another game.

"I liked the book, it added details that the film didn’t have. "

"If I could give this books zero stars I would. The dialogues were weird and disturbing. The characters were yucky and I did not like the plot at all. The romance was terribly written and made me cringe every 5 seconds. I would highly recommend you skip this book and find a book that is actually worth your time. 1/5 ⭐️"

This book was absolutely adorable. I definitely wasn’t expecting Josh to already be in love with her. Also how did he know literally EVERYTHING about her? Granted they worked across from each other for awhile, but he knew so much and she felt like he hated her the whole time. When in reality, he loved it all. AND omg, the bedroom color. That was so SO cute (despite what nowadays it would look like) It was so romantic he didn’t want to rush things because he knew her, and he knew he was already in love. Books like this make me want a series just so see how they end up and to know how in love they still are. "
