"I dislike that they used a disabled kit’s death to encourage Bluestar’s war on Starclan. If that was the purpose for Snowkit did the kit have to be deaf. The story could have been really interesting if Snowkit lived. I also don’t like that they kept on talking about how Snowkit could never be a warrior but they didn’t even try. There are ways around not being able to hear. They can use signals. Also the kit can still feel, see and smell what is going on around them.

Brightpaw is a bit better. The focus is more on Cloudtail but i still enjoy watching Brightpaw’s journey in recovering. She is one of my favorite characters and i wish the Erins gave more focus to her.

Fireheart does act stupid in this book sometimes like not telling the clans about Tigerstar and not noticing the obvious danger of the dogs.

Despite all that i still really enjoy this book. Watching Bluestar have her breakdown is entertaining. I enjoy the dogs. I really like Brightpaw. This book has a lot of rememberable scenes that the fandom talks about to this day. It was also nice seeing Fireheart take on more of a leader role while Bluestar is recovering."
