A gunman has entered the building, taking nineteen lives and irrevocably changing the very fabric of this close-knit community. "Very good and at this day and time I just so happen to pick this book up a month ago at the dollar tree never thinking the unthinkable would happen like yesterday. The families in Uvalde, Texas are in my prayers."

"Wow! I absolutely fell in love with this book, just from page one. I am always captivated from the perspective of a child, and this particular child was crying for help. To see him want to be strong, try to keep his family together and figure out how to mourn himself was heart wrenching. This is a story that is incredibly prevalent in our times, and I think that parents will remember to take another look at the situation from the perspective of their little ones. As an only child who faced fighting parents, I felt myself in this book, despite the horrible situation. Rhiannon did a beautiful job at forcing me to face reality, and to put the reader in the shoes of the characters. This is a book that I would definitely want to own in my house."
