"Probably my favorite so far out of the whole series, i absolutely devoured it even though it was probably the longest one so far. I love SJM's ability to weave in little details because if you were paying attention in the first one stuff is starting to really come together quite nicely. Lots of twists and turns in this one that definitely kept me on edge but made me not want to put the book down and i am excited to start the tandem read next!! "

I don’t know what Chaol thought what would happen when we came back but man his anger was annoying. I like how the 13 are grounding Manon more then she knows. She may be immortal but she was very underdeveloped in the sense of seeing between the lines just like Dorian. I think those to might be more then they know…"

"LONG TIME NO SEE!!! I’ve been so busy with school but I finished this book maybe in the end of august/beg of September and honestly it was so good. It took me a long time to read just because I was starting school and stuff but it’s very good. I honestly loved this book and the final battle thing that the whole thing is leading up to is actually perfect. I am currently about 1/5 into the tandem read so I don’t have much details to say about this book but I thought it was amazing. Short review w/ SPOILERS ⬇️⬇️⬇️ I don’t have much to say right now besides the fact that this book had me on the edge of my seat during the last 100 pages, as per usual. I was SO CONCERNED for my baby Dorian but he got out and him+manon wld b so power couple. Chaol got on my nerves SO MUCH this book but I respect his hustle because he was rlly committed to the cause+ I feel so sad for him💔💔💔. Also Aelin and Rowan reunion had me in tears even tho I wasn’t rooting for them to be a couple bc of the fact they’re related. ALSO I did not know Lysandra was making a redemption arc and that I was gna love her so much but I do she is so baby. And I was gagged at her backstory and her being a shifter bc that was so unexpected but I love her sm. Aelin and Adieon r so cute they’re literally my favs and ALSO I WAS GAGGED AT THE KING BEING LIKE ENSLAVED AND FHAT HE ENDED MAGIC TO TRY TO FIGHT IT OR WHATEVER THAT WAS SO CRAZY PLOT TWIST. "
