"The book I never knew I needed. Literally found this bitch at my local grocery store. A world of blood magic, ancient gods, betrayals and impossible love between monsters. This series brings something so dark and beautiful, I’ve never read anything that tickles my mind and heart the way this series does and doubt I ever will. "
"This book really makes you question organized religion. The author does an amazing job at world building and i love thats its written in different perspectives so you can see all sides of the conflict. The characters are not black and white in the slightest, the lines between hero and villian are very much blurred. While there is a decent amount of romance i think the adventure aspect is more prominent. But i like that there are so many different types of love between characters in this series. "
"I enjoyed the story line. There should definitely be a TW on this book though. It’s quite descriptive of how they go about using blood magic. But besides that the trilogy was decent. Slow at some spots. "

"Wasn't really into the romance, which is weird because it's enemies to lovers, Beauty and the Beast kind of vibes with a little bit of Hades and Persephone thrown in there too. But I don't know I just never really felt like the relationship was earned. Enemies to Lovers really only works for me if it's a slow burn.
And the betrayal at the end... and the middle... is like... yeah? Saw that coming? It kind of just makes the main characters look real dumb for trusting that person.
It was interesting enough that I'm going to read the second book and maybe it will help me make up my mind on whether or not I like this story lol"
