Karen couldn't tell Mrs. Singer why she had to have her Viking diorama out of the sixthgrade showcase. She felt like yelling, To keep my parents from getting divorced. But she couldn't say it, and the whole class was looking at her anyway. Karen's world was ending. "This book was pretty good, but I did feel like Karen was being pretty dramatic about Mrs. Singer. But apart from that it was well written and touched in the topic of divorce nicely. And the book aged very well. Karen blamed herself and her siblings for divorce. I thought it was a little crazy that she kept track of her parents fights and who's fault it was. It was like she wanted to take sides. And although it sounds like I thought this was a decent book at best I actually enjoyed it and have read it multiple times! I hope this review helped and that you decide to read this."
