"This is a series that has a creative premise and radically changes through out its run. What makes it work is its intensity and commitment. I’ll admit though I like fairy tales I’m not a big fan of gritty and gore but this series doesn’t back down and I do admire that. Even if the series has its flaws and over uses it darkness sometimes. This first volume is a murder mystery involving fairy tale characters who fled to the human world to escape a great evil. "
