"This book is extremely good. It’s well-written and thought out. That being said, it is also quite intense and VERY triggering (and that’s not a word I use lightly). Poor Charlie and Sam could not catch a break! Literally the first 100 pages was just traumatizing to the max and it didn’t let up the entire novel. Really the entire book is about trauma and how we all process it differently. It got to be very deep and heart wrenching. I found myself moved to tears out of pure sadness and horror many times throughout. I really wish I had a trigger warning for some of the content (i.e. murder, rape, school shootings, etc.) and some of the scenes were simply jaw dropping. This is definitely a worthwhile read, but you need to go in understanding that there are many disturbing moments throughout it and you may need to take periodic breaks to process everything that’s happened."
"Non stop guessing and full of action and suspense. Excellent read."
