"<strong>Ludicrous </strong><br/><br/>I'm really glad this series is over. She told the same story 5 times and it got worse every time. Yarros is just tossing stuff against the wall with this one. No character ever written has needed a romantic relationship less than Morgan. She is an absolute mess and still devastated over losing Will. Enter Jackson. He immediately falls for Morgan, but since she is in the mental place that she is he is completely understanding, patient and just wants to offer her friendship as she heals. Lol just kidding. He becomes obsessed with Morgan and even though he knows how badly she's hurting and that his job will be a huge trigger for her, he manipulates her, invades her privacy, breaks her trust, and refuses to take no for an answer. He's complete garbage. His behavior is unhinged and crazy. When Morgan says she doesn't want to see him anymore? Shows up at her house everyday and the moment she steps outside he's in her face. The whole story takes place over 4 months and she's only speaking with Jackson for about 2 of those months. Still, Jackson is so obsessed that he tells her on multiple occasions that he doesn't just want her body, he wants her soul. Her soul? Absolute crazy talk. I will not be reading any more books by this author. In 5 books, there were 3 scenes of a possessive mam carrying a woman out of a bar because how dare she enjoy herself with a few drinks? Archaic take on relationships. The way she describes kissing is gross. If anyone ever kissed you the way she describes it, it would be the most disgusting moment of your life. Also, if you want alcohol poisoning, take a shot every time a character's forehead puckers in this series. Anyways, back to this train wreck of a book. The sex scenes are again insanely drawn and with the most cringeworthy dialogue I've ever read. Yarros is obsessed with the guy telling the girl she's going to scream his name and then pointing how how wet she is. At one point Morgan calls Jackson a sorcerer because of his bedroom skills. Just so stupid. Equally stupid is the ending of this book. I'm just so glad it's over."

"Sooo good if you want a military civilian love story this is the book. Both main characters are strong and going through some real tough situations. The male lead is a single father and the female just lost a lover. Literally the most realistic love story!!!"
