"A solid retelling of the spider-man origin as it takes its time to make us care about Peter and Uncle Ben. The rest of the series also builds on this foundation well growing Peter as character and the world around him. I may not have enjoyed every reimagined character but a lot of care was put into them and I appreciate it. It’s a dialogue is naturalistic and messy with people miss-saying things and casually homophobia sayings (it was originally published in the 90s). It takes place outside of the main Marvel universe and in the ultimate universe."

"I love this take on Spider-Man. It has all the essential elements of the character while updating him for the 21st century. The art and storytelling make it much easier for a new reader to get into, so it was nice being able to experience a long running Spider-Man story that I loved."
