At the same time, a hot-air balloon crashes out of the sky. There’s just one survivor. She’s seen the killer’s face—but he’s also seen hers. And he won’t rest until he’s eliminated the only witness to his crime. "I love fast-paced thrillers, and Dead Woman Walking delivered throughout most of the book. It's a unique story, and it really held my interest.

My only complaint is that I feel like there was too much effort to raise emotions in the last portion of the book, but that may just be me. I don't know if the very final twists / information really add much to the story and deserve to be the ending, but I still liked it.

There are a lot of twists and turns in this book, and there were a couple I didn't see coming. I thought something was going to end up differently, so there are successful red herrings, which I always enjoy.

This book will be out on 9/5, and you should definitely check it out if you're looking for a fast-paced creative thriller. Thank you to Sharon Bolton & Minotaur Books for my early copy!"
