"I’m sorry but this was too slow burn for me… 77% in the FMC Clara still doesn’t know what she wants to do!?? Hot dark and twisted Alaric is fighting his instincts to avenge another and Clara is just running around having dinner and pretending to stab him. This did have all the best tropes, the angst between the main characters is great but nothing substantial happens. A huge miss for me, and the series is 5 books deep? There was nothing for me in book 1 to keep me going for another 4 installments. Happy reading… "
