"The ending is slightly predictable and you start to catch onto the plot, though there are not specific details, but i enjoyed it. Definitely creepy and gives me “Gone girl” vibes. I don’t know that i like that it’s from the perspective of a bunch of people, though. I felt like that made things weird and took away from the actual plot. "
"It wasn’t as intriguing as I’d like, but the story was still decent. I liked how all the puzzle pieces fit together at the end."

"This book was ok, it kept me interested enough to keep reading, but was a bit to long in my opinion. "

"You Are Not Alone is the third book co-written by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen, and all of their books are delightfully dramatic. This one caught my attention in the beginning, and it was intriguing and mysterious in the first half. I got invested in the story easily, and I couldn't wait to see how it unraveled.

Somewhere along the line, the story started feeling very far-fetched, and I had a hard time caring about the twists by the time they were happening. I guess I was expecting it to be more sinister, and I felt a little let down. The twists felt like they were just for the sake of having twists, and this is my least favorite of the three co-written books.

I wish that the marketing of the book would have been a little more upfront about suicide being a large storyline in the book. The co-written books have very vague synopses, and usually it's intriguing, but this time, it frustrated me. This book has suicide and mental health stats at the tops of most chapters, and I just prefer to be in a certain headspace for books like this. I know my frustration affected my enjoyment of the book.

That being said, I still love these writers, and the book was still fairly entertaining. I'll definitely be checking out whatever they write next.

CW - suicide, rape, child abuse, animal death, sexual harassment, drugging"
"Meh! It was very predictable and not very entertaining. I love Greer Hendricks other work, but this collaboration was not for me."
