"I was glued to the Elisa Lam case from the minute I saw the clip of surveillance footage released by the police. I lived in LA at the time, and was more than familiar with the Cecil Hotel. The clip was just so creepy, and the official narrative given by the LAPD seemed like total bs. Not to mention the more I learned about the case, the more questions I had. If you are interested in the case and need to know what happened, then you need to read this book. The author answered my prayers, giving me the answers to a mystery that I thought would forever haunt me. On one hand I was almost elated at times getting the answers I so desired, at other times almost overwhelmed with sadness at what it all meant. Somethings are far worse than you imagine and sometimes ignorance truly is bliss. "
