"
Dr. Eden Tong has lived in the cottage on the Greshambury estate since childhood. She is best friends with their children especially their son Rufus the future Duke of Greshmanbury. When we meet Eden and the Greshams they are preparing for the wedding of their oldest daughter, Augie. While at the wedding secrets are revealed and relationships are altered.

We follow the Tongs and Greshams to locations all over the globe while they try to figure out how to handle these life-changing revelations.

This novel reads like a juicy Asian soap opera much like Crazy Rich Asians. It was definitely entertaining although some parts were predictable it was overall an enjoyable read. I feel like the door was left open for a sequel and I would love to follow up with Eden and her family in the future"
""'He didn't feel a thing, I promise. He didn't feel anything,' Rosina said, her entire body trembling with sobs as she hugged him. That was always the problem, Thomas thought. Henry never felt anything."

You're thrown into the drama from the second you enter the first chapter. This started as a 3 for me, as characters start to blend as we chapter hop like watching Game of Thrones (someone hand me a family tree!!!). But Kwan crushed the ending and I absolutely loved Eden and Dr. Thomas, so I boosted it up to a 4.

Also came here to say that I read the book and listened to the audiobook (the narration did not disappoint)."
