"I know you’re getting tired of hearing me say… TJ Klune does it again! But honestly, he’s just SO GOOD at the found family trope, IT GETS ME EVERY TIME!! This second installation of Green Creek is no exception. This time we see Gordon and Mark’s story. Their beginning, and end, their undoing and their return. I wish we could have seen a little bit more of Mark’s perspective, but it is told in Gordo’s POV. However, man we get to see the troubled childhood a magical boy had, and how even magical characters capable of wonder have daddy issues. This was such a beautiful story of growth and love and acceptance and fighting the demons clawing at our doors. I loved to see the growth Gordo experienced and a whole new twist to, cutting your nose to spite your face (too soon?). The sacrifices once makes for love, I think that’s the TJ Klune theme. And I am HERE for ALL OF IT! Happy reading! "
