"Kevin Kwan brings it home with the final CRA book! Rachel & Nick are hit with the news that his grandmother is on her death bed. As each of Young descendants race to their grandmothers side to gain her favor for her huge inheritance, we find out that what she has isn’t what it seems to be. Who is her favorite and who will take her inheritance? Read to find out!"
"I know, five stars? But honestly this was the best of the series. It did an excellent job of being what it is! Funny, engaging, and even a bit of social commentary. And it was excellent at the wish-fulfillment happy-endings that Crazy Rich Asians has come to mean!

I find the most glaring omission in this series to be the political situation particularly with China. At no point is it mentioned or tackled that the Philippines is headed by a dictator, or that politics and the internet etc is restricted in China. These MUST be factors in the world of these “CRAs” and yet it’s completely ignored.

I’m willing to mostly forgive this though because Kwan does an excellent job of never letting these books actually take themselves seriously. Everybody is just a little too ridiculous, self-involved, and over the top. It makes for a hilarious read!"
