"A great collection and explanations of myths! I knew most of the Greek ones, but there were so many interesting ones I had never heard of that were so fun to read! The author had a humorous yet intellectual way of explaining the origins of the myths, poking fun at how the authors and poets exaggerated or waxed poetry about certain tales. I was also pleasantly surprised when the book delved into Roman and Norse mythology as well! It honestly was a quick read and I probably would have finished it in one sitting if I didn’t have to deal with moving and starting law school. So glad I found time to finish it! Highly encourage anyone who loves mythology to give it a read!!!"
"Concise retelling of numerous Greek and Roman myths. I devoured it as a freshman in high school. "
