"I honestly dont understand why I loved these books. They were just a stand alone and believable story. My favorite character was Hester, so selfless and fierce she almost reminded me of my mother. It didnt matter what was right and wrong, she would protect you without thought. I enjoyed the audiobook and the fantasy aspect. Sorry if this is a terrible review I cant really pin point what I loved about this series. It wasnt in the best top books I ever read but I just couldn't stop reading it."

"I was kind of bored to tears by this book, the only reason it got two stars from me at all was because of the fact the plot was okay. I didn't like the writing, most of the characters were one dimensional and boring....I just couldn't get into it. I will not be continuing the series."
