"First of all I did not realize the Caraval series took place prior to the “Once upon a broken heart” series, you do not need to read Caraval first but it makes a nice experience. The Caraval ended in all the right places!"

"I love this series but this is the worst book of the bunch. I think it suffered from some pretty unnecessary love triangles. And it felt repetitive. A good editor would have fixed that but then the book would have been like 25% shorter. I had this feeling with Legendary too, but this book doesn't even feel connected to Caraval. The characters and the world are so far removed from where we started I have to wonder if I would have liked this more if it wasn't the finale Caraval book. "

"It was good though I think the first book was the best, my favorite characters are Scarlett and Julian and I wish there were more of them in the whole series, I personally don't like jacks and don't understand why people love him so much he was annoying, I also found the unnecessary love triangle annoying and pointless though I did like the ending I kinda wish we got a spinoff of donatella and legend or Scarlett and Julian instead of jacks, I rate the whole series a 3 or 4 I wish Scarlett was more of a main character she was more interesting to me and I liked her more."

"3.5 ⭐️ Finale is the last book in the Caraval series and unfortunately my least favorite. There were parts that I struggled to get through. I felt disconnected for some reason. There were parts/twists that I did enjoy and it did pick up a bit for me at the end. The first book is Scarlett’s POV, the 2nd is Tella’s and this one is their duel POV, which is interesting. The obsession/love triangle involving Tella had me confused as to why because I was less drawn to her character in this one than I was in Legendary. I might do a re-read of it later to see if I change my mind, as I sometimes do."
