"4.5⭐ (it would be 5 stars if it had a happy ending!)
I absolutely adored this book! Blake and Farrah are amazing, but the ending was so sad! 😭 Forced proximity, friends to lovers, opposites attract, college setting in China! Loved the spice and the fluff! Ana never disappoints! No HEA in this book, but I'm definitely reading the second book soon! 10/10 would recommend!"
"** SPOILERS **
the third person writing takes some getting used to but i think i adapted to it fine. i can say though some of the things that happened are very clichè for the fact that it’s the “enemies to lovers” and then “pregnancy trope” because blake got cloe pregnant (however i suspect she didn’t actually sleep with blake and it’s a sick joke to try to get back with him because she doesn’t agree with the breakup just as his family doesn’t) i think that would satisfy my needs if that was the twist that’s going to happen later on in the book (call it wishful thinking anyways) blake and farrah are cute together and it seemed a little too perfect though. farrah quite literally did make me cringe the amount of times she was mad because blake was trying to make sure she was ready to do the deed (to put nicely and respectfully). other than that though i really did enjoy this read"
"I really didn’t enjoy this book. I thought it was boring to be honest and skimmed a lot of the details. I thought Blake was annoying af. I also don’t like cheating so after that, it went downhill. He treated Farrah like **** and I don’t want them to end up together again honestly. I’m not sure if I’ll read the next ones because I disliked it so much. I read the twisted series and thought this would be similar, but it seemed more childish to me. Just not the book for me."
