Simi Chopra is on a bad-luck streak. She’s lost yet another job, her student loan debt won’t stop growing, her basement apartment is a certifiable flood zone, and now her best friend has been accused of stealing a multimillion-dollar diamond necklace. To put it lightly, she’s desperate for a break—that’s right when Jack waltzes out of the bushes and into her life. Jack is just as charming as he is mysterious. When he offers to help her find the missing necklace and steal it back, Simi jumps at the chance to clear her friend’s name and collect the substantial reward. But every good heist needs a crew. All she needs to do is transform a ragtag group of strangers into an elite heist crew, infiltrate a high-society wedding and steal the necklace from a dangerous criminal before the happy couple say "I do." Meanwhile the bride is keeping secrets, a detective with a slow-burn smile keeps showing up at her door, and the ultimate robbery might not be the wedding con, but the way Jack is stealing her heart.

"If you loved the Singles Table and Partners In Crime by Alisha Rai then you need to read this. This is kinda like If both books had a baby. Simi the fmc feels like she’s failing at life, she’s lost jobs and has so many financial problems. She ends up tangled in a robbery with her best friend Chloe and after meeting Jack the mmc, gets involved in a heist to recover the stolen item.

This was fun, crazy and sometimes unbelievable but I liked the chaos of the heist plot. The suspense and heist is front and foremost in the story. There are many background characters that make up the crew for the heist and they’re quite interesting. I liked Simi she was relatable, awkward and chaotic. I loved Simi’s parents and family especially the Indian aunties. The romance was sweet, it definitely wasn’t as heavy on the romance as I thought it would be and I wish we had gotten more of the that.

Overall this was a good read. It’s definitely different from the romcoms the author has previously written. Read If your into chaotic heist/adventure plots with suspense and some romance.

Thank you Valentine Pr for this arc for an honest review."
