"This was the 2nd book I read by Lisa Genova and she continues to leave me mind blown. Her writing made me go and buy all of her books and I have yet to be disappointed after reading 4. She writes such beautiful stories that help educate about so many real life cognitive disabilities/diseases that are both common and rare. Her research and navigation through hardships these diseases and disabilities can create, is incredible and really lovely."
"I find the authors books so moving and the characters easy to relate to. She has a way of writing about complex medical conditions without losing the human elements."

"What a coincidence that when I started this book, my dad is experiencing something similar as a result of a stroke at the same time. The author does a great job of giving the perspective and struggles that the main character is dealing with, that helped me to also understand what my dad is going through. A beautiful story. "
