This was ok… the novela titled “Branded” that I thought was required to be read before this, is also in the first like 11 chapters of this book. So no need to read it separately, it’s repeated here.
With that being said this was a fun spice filled with a bit of plot story. Selma is a special girl who can see the demons that walk the earth, and after 1 too many mandatory psych holds, our girl gets wise and pretends they’re not there, until she can’t. She runs into trouble, then away right into Kain, or he runs into her? Their meet cute is far from.. but, it works.
Will I continue on to the second book? Maybe? Not sure if it’s just going to be a repeat of the ALL spice I just ingested with this first book. All in all though, good time! Happy reading! "
