"I listened to this book on audio and that may have influenced my opinions somewhat.<br/><br/>Pros:<br/><br/>This will be perfect for fans of Sookie Stackhouse. We get another sassy, southern magical person solving mysteries in her small town which is filled with heated politics from the different magical species.<br/><br/>This isn’t groundbreaking writing but it is fun. I would recommend it for anyone who likes paranormal romance or cozy mysteries and wants to expand into the other genre.<br/><br/>Cons:<br/><br/>Love triangle. I’m so over them. It’s not badly done I’m just so tired of them.<br/><br/>I struggled for the first chapter to adjust to the southern accent the narrator was using."
